Lighting calculations directly within the eCatalogue

Use CalcExpress to quickly carry out rough online calculations of luminaire numbers in rectangular rooms. CalcExpress is a lighting calculation programme for indoor luminaires and square rooms with intuitive user interface. Users can carry out calculations directly via the Thorn website while sitting at their workstations.

Now that the new software has been integrated into the online product catalogue, the lighting calculation process has been reduced to include but a few steps:
Simply select the required luminaire in the online product catalogue and click on the CalcExpress icon. Then enter calculation parameters such as room dimensions, mounting height, height of the useful plane and required level of illuminance. The programme instantly proposes a solution according to the light output ratio method.
